Dr. Raja is a board-certified heart doctor who cares for the full range of heart conditions, with a special focus on preventing heart disease before it starts and using non-invasive imaging — tests that see the heart clearly without surgery or needles — to catch problems early.

He completed his internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and his cardiology fellowship at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans. Before joining Alliance Heart & Vascular, he served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Cardiology at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), where he taught and trained the next generation of cardiologists while caring for hospitalized heart patients.
