About

About Dr. Khan

Dr. Khan is an experienced heart doctor with over 10 years of training and experience. He cares for patients with a wide range of heart conditions, from high blood pressure and chest pain to heart failure. He trained at two of the top hospitals in the country, Cleveland Clinic and Loyola University Medical Center, and was chosen as Chief Fellow during his heart specialist training. He went on to serve as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Cleveland Clinic's Lerner College of Medicine and at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, where he also served as Director of Cardiology Services and Director of the Cardiac Care Unit, overseeing the care of some of the sickest heart patients in the region.

Dr. Khan strongly believes that good heart care starts with listening. When you come in, he takes the time to understand not just your test results, but your daily life — what you eat, how you sleep, what worries you, and what goals matter most to you. He explains things in plain language, without confusing medical terms, so you always know what is going on with your heart and why each step of your care matters.

Whether you are coming in for a routine checkup or dealing with a more serious heart problem, Dr. Khan works with you, not just on you. His goal is to help you feel better, stay healthier, and live your life more fully.

Dr. Khan has also been active in medical research throughout his career, publishing multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals. He brings that same evidence-based, up-to-date thinking to every patient he sees.
